Wilson Tool's tablet compression division makes punches and dies for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and confectionery tableting. The wider company, based in White Bear Lake, Minnesota, also covers punching, bending, and stamping tooling alongside tableting.

Those sheet metal businesses are substantial in their own right, spanning turret punching tooling, press brake bending tooling, and stamping tooling under the Impax, Exacta, and Unitized names.

Punches and dies for tablets and punches for sheet metal are both precision-ground tool steel components whose performance depends on material selection, heat treatment, surface finish, and coating. That shared expertise in coating technology and tool steel is what the tableting division draws on. Wilson Tool operates internationally with sales and support across Europe and the Americas, and supplies tooling for compaction well beyond pharmaceutical tablets.
