These terms govern your use of www.virtualpharmaexpo.com and your attendance at Virtual Pharma Expo events. By using this site or registering for an event, you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
This site is operated by Federal Machinery & Equipment Company, d/b/a Federal Equipment Company, an Ohio corporation located at 8200 Bessemer Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44127, United States. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean that company, including its Techceuticals and PharmParts divisions.
Virtual Pharma Expo is a free online event series presenting equipment demonstrations, live question-and-answer sessions and vendor showcases for pharmaceutical manufacturing teams. Attendance is free. There is no fee, badge charge or subscription, and nothing on this site is an offer to sell equipment.
Event dates, tracks, exhibitor line-ups and running orders are subject to change. We may reschedule or cancel an event, and we will tell registrants if we do.
Registration is handled on ON24, a third-party platform, and is subject to the terms and privacy statement presented on the registration form, which are published by our co-presenter Life Science Connect: their terms and conditions and their privacy policy. Those documents apply to registration in addition to these terms. Where they conflict with these terms in relation to registration, they govern.
Registration also requires you to agree to receive the Pharmaceutical Online newsletter, which you may leave at any time using the instructions on the registration form.
You agree that the information you give when registering is accurate and that you are registering on your own behalf, using a genuine business email address.
This site is intended for people acting in a professional or business capacity who are at least 16 years old. It is not intended for consumers or children.
Our sessions are recorded and the recordings are published in our archive and sent to registrants. If you ask a question during a live session, your question and the name you registered with may be read aloud, displayed to other attendees and included in the recording. If you would prefer not to appear in a recording, do not submit questions during the live session.
You may view this site and its content, and download materials we offer for download, for your own business use. You may share links to it freely.
You may not copy, republish or redistribute our content for commercial purposes without permission; use the site or its forms to send unsolicited commercial messages; submit false or misleading information; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site or the systems behind it; use automated means to scrape or overload the site; interfere with another attendee's use of an event; or use the site in breach of any applicable law, including export control and trade sanctions law.
If you send us a question, comment or suggestion, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use it in operating and promoting Virtual Pharma Expo, including in recordings and marketing materials. Do not send us anything confidential, and do not send us anything you do not have the right to share.
Exhibitor and sponsor participation is governed by a separate written agreement. Nothing on this site, and no exhibitor enquiry submitted through it, creates an exhibitor or sponsor arrangement or any obligation to offer one. Exhibitor enquiries submitted on this site are forwarded to Life Science Connect, which handles exhibitor enrolment.
The Virtual Pharma Expo name and logo, the design and text of this site, and our event recordings are owned by us or used with permission. Exhibitor and sponsor names and logos belong to those companies and appear here with their permission. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership to you.
We use ON24 for events, HubSpot and Mailchimp for forms and announcements, Wistia for video, Google for analytics, and Netlify for hosting, and we link to other companies' sites. We do not control those services or sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Content presented at our events, including exhibitor demonstrations and statements, is provided for general information. It is not engineering, regulatory, legal or professional advice, and we do not endorse or verify exhibitors' claims about their products. Evaluate equipment on your own account before relying on it.
This site and our events are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or business interruption, arising out of your use of this site or attendance at an event, whether the claim is based in contract, tort or otherwise, even if we were advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or an event will not exceed one hundred United States dollars (US$100), which reflects that attendance is provided free of charge.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so parts of the two sections above may not apply to you, and nothing in them limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the site or an event, or anything you submit to us.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms, this site or our events will be resolved by binding arbitration conducted in Cleveland, Ohio, under the laws of the State of Ohio, by one arbitrator, in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association then in effect. The arbitrator may not award punitive, exemplary, consequential, special, indirect or incidental damages. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Either party may seek injunctive relief in the state or federal courts located in Cuyahoga County, Ohio to protect its intellectual property or confidential information, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts for that purpose.
We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here and changing the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms. These terms replace the previous terms of service published for this site.
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest remain in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. These terms, together with the privacy policy and any separate written agreement between us, are the entire agreement between you and us about the site and our events.
