Comi Polaris builds solid/liquid separation and drying equipment for API and highly potent API production: filtering centrifuges, filter and vacuum dryers, static filters, reactors, and vacuum and abatement systems. Its US engineering and service operation is in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The centrifuges are the core of the range, separating solids from mother liquor in pharmaceutical, chemical, and food production, and they are engineered per application rather than sold from a standard catalog. The drying side runs from plug-in pilot units to complete self-controlled plants, designed around discharging dried or wet solids, slurries, and liquids without opening the process.
Around those sit auxiliary systems: pressure vessels, reactors and heat exchangers, reaction packages, heating, cooling, and cryogenic units, and vacuum systems. The company also supplies cryogenic technology for batch and continuous distillation, air separation, and VOC recovery. Service and spare parts are handled by mechanical and process staff across its Comi Condor, Delta, and Polaris operations.
