Dec Group

Dec Group has specialized in contained powder handling since 1987, from Switzerland. Its Powder Transfer System moves, doses, and fills highly potent powders at containment levels below 1 µg/m³, across divisions covering powder handling, particle sizing, filling, containment, and continuous processing.

The powder handling range covers bulk handling, conveying, dispensing and dosing, blending, sampling and packing, and the containment range covers process isolators, downflow booths, and nuclear containment. Particle science covers micronization and milling under containment, so material can be sized without breaking the barrier.

The filling division builds aseptic filling lines for liquids and powders from laboratory scale to full production, and the continuous processing division supplies flow chemistry systems for reaction, extraction, evaporation, distillation, crystallization, filtration, and drying. Dec's argument for that breadth is that one supplier can contain a compound from discharge through conveying, dosing, and filling into a drum, rather than joining several vendors' equipment.
