ACG Engineering is ACG's machinery division, building granulation, tablet compression, coating, encapsulation, and blister packaging equipment for solid dosage manufacturers. The granulation range covers high-shear mixers, fluid beds, fluid bed combos, and complete granulation trains.
Encapsulation covers solid, liquid, and containment filling, band sealing, and capsule check-weighing, and the compression range runs single and double rotary presses. Coating includes standard and containment coaters, and the packaging side covers flat and rotary forming and sealing, format parts, cartoning, and bin washing.
The wider ACG group was founded in Mumbai in 1961 and describes itself as the largest integrated supplier to solid dosage manufacturers, present in 138 countries across six continents. Alongside machinery it supplies gelatin and vegetarian hard capsules, high-barrier packaging films and foils, vision-based tablet, capsule, and blister inspection, and serialization and aggregation systems. Its newest capsule plant in Thailand covers 175,000 square meters and has capacity for 20 billion capsules a year.
