Pharmaworks has exhibited at Virtual Pharma Expo 1 time (2021), in the solid dosage track.
Pharmaworks builds blister machines, cartoners, tooling, and feed systems from Odessa, Florida. Its TF-series thermoformers are compact and servo-driven, handling both thermoform and cold-form blisters, and the company also makes tooling for third-party OEM machines and rebuilds other manufacturers' blister lines. Part of ProMach.
Rebuilds and upgrades keep an aging blister line running against current requirements without the capital and requalification of a replacement. Around the blister machines sit cartoners, including the Ci6 intermittent cartoner, product feeding and handling systems, bulk product inspection, and online vision inspection.
Recent additions include the FR1 robotic feeder and an enhanced TF1e blister machine. Medical device manufacturers have become a growing part of the business, moving surgical kits and syringes from manual packing to automated blister packaging. ProMach's pharmaceutical business line gives Pharmaworks access to the rest of a packaging line.
