Ackley Hartnett marks tablets, capsules, softgels, and confectionery with ink printing, laser drilling, and laser marking. The ink printing machines use high-output rotogravure technology and run single or double-sided, in one color or several, at production speeds.
Laser marking uses CO2 or UV lasers to apply logos, dosages, and branding for traceability and anti-counterfeiting, and the laser drilling systems scale from early-stage R&D through high-volume production. Machines are made in the United States and custom-engineered to each customer's specification rather than sold from a fixed catalog, and the company works across pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, and confectionery production.
Ackley Hartnett was formed by the merger of Ackley Machine Corporation, the name it exhibited under at Virtual Pharma Expo, and R.W. Hartnett Company, after nearly 50 years as competitors. The combined business claims more than 200 years of industry experience between the two names, and works from Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
