New England Machinery has built bottle handling equipment since 1974: unscramblers that sort and orient containers upright onto the line, plus cappers, retorquers, pluggers, orienters, and cap sorters. Its machines run across pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, and personal care packaging.
The unscrambler is the signature product: containers arrive in bulk and have to leave single-file, upright, and correctly oriented, at whatever rate the filler demands, whether the bottle is large or small and the line fast or slow.
Around it the company builds capping systems for bottles and containers, lidders, pump placers, and scoop feeders for powders, granules, and other dry products. New England Machinery is part of Massman Companies, a group of packaging brands covering unscrambling, filling, capping, cartoning, case packing, shrink wrapping, and palletizing, which lets a customer buy a full line under one agreement.
