L.B. Bohle covers most solid dosage processing steps from Ennigerloh, Germany: weighing and dispensing, wet and dry granulation, milling, sieving, blending, and tablet coating. Its BTC coaters are an industry reference, and the QbCon line runs the process continuously from powder to coated tablet. Its 2022 session was a joint demo with KORSCH.
The granulation range alone covers most available principles: BFS fluid bed granulation and drying, GMA high shear, VMA single-pot, BCG twin-screw, and BRC roller compaction for dry granulation. Sizing runs through BTS conical sieves, BRS rotation sieves, and BTM hammer mills, blending through PM container and PTM telescopic mixers, and coating through BFC film coaters, the BTC, and the KOCO continuous coater.
Around those sit container handling, docking stations, lifting columns, and container cleaning and drying systems, plus containment configurations throughout. The company runs a test center where customers trial processes before specifying a machine.
