DIOSNA

DIOSNA has made process plant from Osnabrück since 1885, and is best known in pharmaceutical manufacturing for its high-shear mixer-granulators, a market it moved into in the late 1950s. The range runs from the P1-6 laboratory unit to the P100-1250 production series, alongside fluid bed technology, tablet coating, and complete granulation lines.

Batch sizes across the pharmaceutical range start at 0.04 kg for laboratory development work and reach 2,400 kg in production, so a formulation can be developed and scaled without changing mixer principle. Beyond granulating and mixing, the process list covers conveying, drying, pellet coating, pelletizing, and tablet coating, which lets the company supply a granulation train rather than a single vessel.

The pharmaceutical business sits alongside DIOSNA's older baking and food operations, and the company also serves cosmetics and fine chemicals. The mixing technology is common across all of them. DIOSNA is now a Coperion brand, within Coperion's Food, Health & Nutrition division, which puts it under the same roof as Coperion K-Tron, another exhibitor in this directory.
