Körber Pharma

Körber Pharma covers inspection machines and the software layer above them. Its inspection range runs from laboratory units to AI-supported high-speed machines, and the Werum PAS-X MES suite handles electronic batch records, OEE monitoring, and the serialization and aggregation needed for track-and-trace compliance.

Between those two sits the rest of the portfolio: handling systems for contactless transport of glass syringes and other fragile primary containers; blister, sachet, and stick packaging machines for primary packaging; and side and topload cartoners for secondary. Semi-automatic inspection machines and in-process control applications fill the gap between laboratory work and full production speed.

The company's argument for itself is the connection between those pieces, what it calls the Körber Ecosystem, where machines and software use the same data rather than being integrated after the fact. It also offers consultancy, packaging materials, and the Xpert View remote support tool for reducing downtime on installed equipment.
