Weiler Engineering

Weiler Engineering has built aseptic blow/fill/seal machines in the US since 1959. Its ASEP-TECH systems form, fill and seal a plastic container in seconds with no human contact, in fill volumes from 0.2 mL vials up to large-volume bottles, an approach that suits temperature-sensitive biologics and protein-based products.

Four models cover the range. The 624 is the entry-level machine, servo-controlled and compact, running 0.2 mL to 500 mL containers. The 603 handles large bottle formats from 180 mL to 1,000 mL in an all-electric servo configuration with a stepped base for maintenance and changeover. The 660 is the high-speed large bottle machine, cap-welder ready, from 100 mL to 2,000 mL. LAB+ is the laboratory, stability, and clinical-scale system, available with single-use technology or a CIP/SIP configuration. Typical resins are LDPE, HDPE, and polypropylene.

Weiler builds machines to customer specification rather than from a fixed model line, supports the installed base with maintenance and equipment support, and runs its own R&D capability for developing the technology further. The company serves pharmaceutical and healthcare manufacturers, and offers optional accessories to configure a system to a specific product.
