KORSCH has specialized in tablet compression technology since 1919. The company develops and manufactures its tablet presses in Berlin, with equipment spanning initial feasibility, R&D, and scale-up through high-speed, multilayer, and continuous production. Its range extends from the XP 1 single-punch development press to the TRP 900, which can produce tablets with up to five layers in continuous 24/7 operation.

More than 10,000 KORSCH presses have been delivered worldwide. The pharmaceutical line also covers tablet-in-tablet compression and containment configurations for potent compounds, and the company works on the process alongside the machine, including the move from batch to continuous production.

Outside pharmaceuticals it builds presses for food and confectionery applications such as sweeteners, candies, chewing gum, nutraceuticals, and effervescent tablets; for chemical products including laundry and dishwasher tablets, salt, fertilizer, and chlorine; and for technical parts such as battery components, catalysts, airbag components, magnets, and sintered metal.
