Natoli Scientific

Natoli Scientific is Natoli Engineering's laboratory arm, in Telford, Pennsylvania. It handles the formulation work that happens before a press is specified: API characterization, powder flow and density testing, compaction simulation on the Presster, and QC testing for friability, disintegration, and dissolution.

The stated purpose is to shorten development time and head off the problems that usually surface at scale-up: sticking, picking, capping, and lamination.

The group takes work at either end of a product's life, from an early concept that has never been compressed to troubleshooting a formulation already in commercial production. Facilities are in Telford and in St. Charles, Missouri, alongside Natoli Engineering, and the group works with university partners including Long Island, Karachi, and Singapore, with technical representatives across Europe and Southeast Asia.
