ChargePoint Technology makes split butterfly valves for contained powder transfer. Its PharmaSafe valves use metal-to-metal disc seals that cannot open unless docked, which can reduce reliance on secondary containment and cumbersome PPE when moving potent compounds between vessels. Containment reaches 1 µg/m³, or 0.1 µg/m³ on the pro range.

The AseptiSafe range applies the same docking principle to sterile transfers, where the concern is keeping the product sterile rather than keeping the operator safe, and a single-use passive valve covers transfers where a replaceable valve avoids cleaning validation between products.

Alongside the valves the company makes the ChargeBag PE-S, a high-integrity single-use powder transfer bag that removes the cleaning and validation burden of reusable containers, and a fluid management range for single-use bag handling, storage, and mixing. Its market is pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, and life science manufacturers handling potent or sterile material.
