Stevanato Group

Stevanato Group has made glass primary containers for injectable drugs since 1949, from Piombino Dese in Italy. Its Type I borosilicate vials, syringes, cartridges, and ampoules include the EZ-fill pre-sterilized, ready-to-fill platform and the Alba syringe line aimed at biologics and ophthalmics.

The group has since built outward from containment into drug delivery and the equipment around it, describing itself as an integrated provider across the development, clinical, and commercial stages. Delivery devices include the Aidaptus autoinjector and the sTW needle for high-viscosity drugs, both responses to biologics that are too concentrated or too viscous for conventional presentation.

On the equipment side it supplies assembly and automatic visual inspection systems, increasingly paired with digital tools including inspection digital twins and AI-driven defect detection. Analytical and regulatory support services sit alongside the products. Manufacturing runs well beyond Italy, with plants including Fishers, Indiana, Monterrey, Mexico, and Zhangjiagang, China.
